Earl

Little Earl isn’t so little any more. He waited for just the right home and found it with these two girls. He’s brought joy (and some new carpet stains) to his new family and has just started his obedience training. His guardians say he is very smart and settled right in. He’s obviously not intimidated by the “women” in the family!

Jughead

We’ve all seen that picture going around the internet of the big Labrador hugging the kitty. Dawg Squad is not to be outdone….here is our very own Jughead with one of the kitties under his “protection”. Yes, he is the Godfather of the kittens at his house. Jughead’s guardians are fosters for many homeless kittens and checks each one out, makes sure they are all OK and helps them to feel at home. Who knew our silly little Juggy would get such an important job!

Lola

  H
i there. I'm Lola, and in case you are wondering, I am the good looking one. In case that is not enough information, I am the white spotty sexy female with the incredibly cute heart- shaped nose. In any case I wanted to write you to say thanks to The Dawg Squad for hooking me up with a great pair of owners. Life has been going along great since I left the Dawg Squad camp about 2 years ago. Since then I've been playing a lot of ball, jogging, hiking, dining out and of course cuddling like crazy with my humans. In fact, things went so great in the first year that I proposed to the owners that we should add a new player to our squad and of course we knew just where to go.... Dawg SQUAD. It didn't take long for us to find my cute new friend, Lucy (aka "Da Goose" aka "Chocolate Moose"). Since she has come aboard life has been even better as I now have a playmate for never-ending games of chewy-face, tug, and run around (as you can see in some of our action pics) On behalf of Lucy and myself we would like to thank the people at Pawd Squad and our foster families for taking us in when we were abandoned as puppies and believing in us. We are working hard at becoming the great dogs you knew we could grow up to be. Thanks LOLA AND LUCY.

A word from the humans:

Thanks to everyone at Dawg Squad. As Lola mentioned above we got both of these dogs as puppies (about a year apart) and we could not be happier with them. They have turned out to be great dogs, providing a never-ending source of love and entertainment for us. If you are thinking about adopting we highly recommend Dawg SQUAD. Thanks for providing such a wonderful service to us and these wonderful animals.

Timmy & Ilsa

Almost six years ago, Krista adopted Ilsa from the Dawg Squad. Ilsa is the pretty tan pup. She was one of our very first adoptions. A few months ago Krista came back and yes....that is Timmy, our beautiful gray pitbull with the crazy overbite. Ilsa and Timmy are the best of friends and Krista couldn't be happier! And as a side note, Timmy won the cutest puppy contest at the 2007 Nuts for Mutts event. And the very best part is that Timmy and Ilsa and Krista all come back every now and then to visit their friends at The Squad. And we love to see them! Thank you Krista for taking such good care of our pups AND for consulting our trainer, Brandon Fouche, when you need some training tips.

Jan

Cassidy was one of the Brady Bunch Rotties – she was known to The Squad as Jan. We placed her with a very patient and loving adult male Rottie named Milo. Cassidy tortures the poor boy and Milo just takes it. Milo was very sad and lonely after suddenly losing his mastiff play buddy to a heart condition but with Cassidy he is a new man again. Cassidy is his lady love!

Daisy

Hello there (this is Ann - Daisy's Mom)

I just wanted to tell you what joy Daisy has given me.  I adopted her about a month after my daughter Natalie died.  While Natalie was in the hospital she told me when she came home she wanted us to adopt a white pit bull and name her Daisy.  Well Natalie never came home, but in her memory I decided to help one of the many pit bulls that are abandoned and abused here in the So Calif area. I found Sylva (now Daisy) on your web site and was able to bring her home.

Twilight

LOOK AT MY EARS!  They are finally standing up.  Yep, it's me Twilight (Ella now) and I finally got my ears to go all the way up just like my Mom's (my dog mom, not my human Mom).  Thank you for finding me this great new home.  I love my new family!   They give me lots of love and training and I am so, so happy.   Thank you everyone in Dawg Squad for rescuing me!

Keira

Keira just returned from her first trip to the dog park. Wow, she really surprised us at how good she was there. We went to the Big Dog side as you had expressed her dislike for the small doggies, but to our surprise, a few small dogs (with BIG dog attitudes) were in there. We were nervous and low and behold they had to walk right by her and up to her. She did great with them. Quite a few people were impressed with her behavior, saying she was SO well trained. We laughed. We have been working with her a lot but she really did shine today. She stuck by us pretty much but she did go off and play with the others, and when we told her to come to us she did. They were all impressed knowing that we'd only had her for going on 7 weeks. (can you believe its b
een 7 weeks!) Now she's exhausted.  We think we'll go again tomorrow and take Noah too. Anyway she's coming right along. Her official training starts in 2 weeks. I think she will surprise us there too.  Still a bit wild in the house when we get home from work. She and Noah are really great together and now spend all day together.

Alvin

We pulled Alvin from the East Valley shelter when he was 10 years old, under nourished and with more aches and pains than we could imagine.    WHO would adopt this dog?  Well obviously Alvin has found his niche and Rha (brown hair) absolutely loves him.  And all her love and good food and lots of fresh air and exercise has turned Alvin into a youngster again.

 Tira
Tira was adopted by a great family who didn't care if she was blind.  And her Rottie brother certainly doesn't know.  She is having the time of her life with her new family and is growing by leaps and bounds.   She is already 53 pounds and absolutely gorgeous.

Pucca
Pucca just waited for the perfect home and OK...so they dress her up a little bit.  It's still absolutely perfect!  Her adopters say "Thank You so much for bringing Poochie in our lives we just love her!"
